Health Risks Of Smoking Electronic Cigarette

Conventional cigarettes are extremely noxious because of the nicotine they contain. Even though many smokers know the risks that they expose their bodies to, addicts still find it hard to quit smoking. Cancer is a deadly disease, and lung cancer which is caused by the nicotine that is contained in traditional cigarettes has led to the demise of many people. However, the number of smokers has been on the rise. It is for these health hazards that electronic cigarettes have been introduced. With electronic cigarettes, addicts can regulate the quantities of their nicotine intake as well as enjoy some other benefits like the flavor varieties. The bugging question has however been; what are the health risks of electronic cigarettes? Can they actually sway someone away from nicotine addiction? And if they can, do they have any risks themselves or they are just perfect.

The first factor to mull over when considering a switch to electronic cigarettes is the amount of toxins that are present in each cigar. Electronic cigarettes are not made with the identical toxin and chemicals that are present in traditional cigarettes. Electronic cigarettes in its place use cartridges filled with flavored liquids, which when heated and pooled with a certain base chemical, vaporize and are inhaled. But with the nonexistence of super toxic chemical compounds like formaldehyde, benzene, and tar that can stick in your lungs for ages, it seems that electronic cigarettes are in fact not death-defying.

The fact is, traditional cigarettes are markedly more treacherous and fatal to use than are electronic cigarettes. Made with a long list of dangerous chemicals, there is no way you can save your lungs from them. Some of the chemicals include; formaldehyde, ammonia, arsenic, benzene, among others. This is just a small amount of the toxins used. Statistics from WHO indicate that 1.6 billion people in the world smoke. Of the 1.6 billion, 5.4 million get their direct passes to meet their makers yearly on nicotine-related complications, and one of them dies every 6.5 seconds.

Although there is no known proof that electronic cigarettes pose any form of danger to the health and safety of the world populace, there has also not been much research done on them because of they are a recent contraption. But just because there has been limited research doesn't mean that there has been none, and so far, the research is promising. According to some researchers exploring the contents of the cartridges used in making electronic cigarettes, some cartridges of a number of e-cigar brands have traces of carcinogenic compounds that are known to cause cancer.

However, leading medical unions and organizations in the United States assert that these levels are close to a million times lesser than traditional cigarettes and dont pose much risk to human life. One risk found, though, was that some cartridges claiming to be nicotine free do by a matter of fact contains traces of nicotine. This is a breach of consumer trust by the manufacturers. All in all, electronic cigarettes are far much better option for smokers than conventional cigarettes.
Traditional smoking can cause damage to the heart, and also to the human body in general. We have to stay away from the traditional smoking, and thank God for the new invention,Electronic cigarette.
Quit now or you cause damage to your heart and health.
